These little legumes are packed full of vitamins and nutrients. Red Kidney beans are often used in chilli con carne, but can be added to salads, soups and stews. Kidney beans should always be  soaked and then well cooked y boiling in water for at least 20 minutes. It is important to note that you should never cook raw, dried kidney beans in the slow cooker.
